Chrysler Repair: changing headlight for 2004 chrysler sebring, 2004 chrysler sebring, chrysler sebring

Question
Can you give me the details for changing the low beam headlight for the 2004 Chrysler Sebring, please.  I've got the replacement bulbs but before getting into it I'd like to read and see how extensive it really is.  I think I can handle it, I just want to read about it before I tackle it!!
Thanks!!

Answer
Hi Donna,
Earlier this month you asked me a question about a problem with you vehicle. Now I need to ask a favor of you. I am competing for the honor of being the "Expert of the Month" for December. You can help me by going the the 'thank/rate' tab below and look for the question that asks if you think I should be so-honored. If you would select the 'yes' option I would be most appreciative. Please do this before 6pm CST tomorrow, New Year's Eve when the competition ends. I wish that your Chrysler vehicle is running well and gives you good service in the New Year!

Hi Donna,
My '03 manual says that the headlamp unit is retained by screws which when removed will allow the back side of the unit be be exposed by having removed the unit itself from its location. Disconnect the wire plug from the bulb. Rotate the retaining ring counterclockwise, remove retaining ring, remove bulb.
Do not touch the new bult with your fingers as any grease can cause failure later. Then just reverse the process to install. Unfortunately it doesn't identify the screws that will allow removal of the unit so I hope you can.
