Chrysler Repair: 1995 Lebaron GTC keyless entry, lebaron gtc, remote keyless entry

Hello i recently bought a 1995 Chrysler Le baron GTC 6 cyl auto trans with 92k miles I absolutely love the car! I started looking around on ebay for the keyless remote since mine didnt come with one and have found a few cheap ones my question is how do i program the remote to my car? thanks in advance :)

Hi Shaun,
I believe you will find the remote keyless entry module in the trunk, behind the back seat and in front of the convertible top pump motor assembly. It has a 12-pin plug. Locate the dark green wire which may be simply hanging there "free" on the plug. When you are ready to program the new fob, simply ground the dark green wire. Then press on any button of the fob, the power door lock should cycle. Then do press any button on a second fob if you have it to program. Then disconnect the ground from the dark green wire. That is it. I believe this is the correct procedure (based on the '94 LH body manual, and a hand-written note based on what another owner had told me as to the location of the module).
