Hi, Roland. How are you, sir? I have not written you for a long time. I'm on the Bahamas with a vessel on a wet dock and I want to buy a repair manual for my Lebaron but I can't choose it. Can You help?
Here is the V.I.N.
1 = made in U.S.
C = Chrysler
3 = Passenger car
B = manual seat belts
C = LeBaron
5 = trim level, premium
6 = 4 door sedan
E = 2.2L turbo
6 = a "check" digit for VIN verification
F = 1985
F = Manufacturing plant (Newark, New Jersey)

Nice to hear from you again. The manuals you would want are the three-volume set published by Chrysler Corp for the 1985 front wheel drive cars. They have the numbers 81-270-5002 and -5003 and -5004. I bought this set a few year ago on eBay. I would watch for such a set to come up there. Search "Chrysler Service Manual 1985". I believe you will find a set from a private party for under $20. I suspect you will find a dealer who want $50 but wait for one that is affordable for you.
