i also have a tcm trouble code of p0700. My trans is shifting fine and my engine idle is smooth. will this cause problems with the transmission?

Hi Jeremy,
It may mean a problem with the trans control module, but usually it is accompanied by a specific other fault code. By itself it is difficult to say what to do other than to periodically check if any other trans fault codes come forward.
