Answer
Hi Gene,
How did things work out with the turn signals/hazards?
Earlier, last month, you asked me a question about that problem with your vehicle. Now I need to ask a favor of you. I am competing for the honor of being the "Expert of the Month" for December. You can help me by going the the 'thank/rate' tab below and look for the question that asks if you think I should be so-honored. If you would select the 'yes' option I would be most appreciative. Please do this before 6pm CST today, New Year's Eve when the competition ends. I wish that your Chrysler vehicle is running well and gives you good service in the New Year!

History-
Hi Gene,
I assume that the fuse that blows is "6" (20 amp) in the power distribution center under the hood. It is twice the size of the fuse (#15 in the fuse box)that is used for the turn signals, which makes sense since only half the filaments are needed. I don't see how the wiring could cause the #6 fuse to blow. Is it possible that one of the many bulb filaments/socket pin contacts is overdrawing but not enough to blow #15 when in the turn signal mode, but when combined with the other side when in the hazard mode will blow #6? The connecting wires are all internal to the multifunction switch/combo flasher unit (which you called the relay and is indeed the flasher "relay"), so I can't see how, given that you replaced the switch and the combo flasher, how this could have anything to do with it or with the distribution wiring out to the bulbs, unless it is a marginal issue with a bulb/socket. This is a real puzzle to me. You might try a 25 amp fuse in place of the 20. Other than that, I will keep trying to figure it out and let you know.

PS Use the 'thank/rate' tab below to get back to me with any questions/observations, without having to wait for me to be available to take a question. While you are there, please consider me for a 'nomination' as 'expert of the month' if I have been helpful.

PPS The voting for 'expert of the month' ends tomorrow afternoon. If you would be so kind as to find the "nomination?" area of the 'thank/rate' tab and change the 'no' to a 'yes' that would give a vote. Thanks.
