Chrysler Repair: Keyless Remote Programming;02 LH, keyless remote programming, fuse box

Question
I have purchased a keyless remote for my 2002 concorde to replace one I lost.  I still have a spare that is programmed to the vehicle on my wife's key ring.  How do I program the one I purchased?

Hi Richard,
With the ignition switch 'on', press the unlock button of the programmed fob for 4 to 10 seconds, and in that same time frame that you are holding the unlock button then press the panic button too, then release both buttons. The body control module behind the underdash fuse box will chime to tell you that it is in the programming mode.
Take the now fob and press simultaneously the lock and unlock buttons for 3 seconds, release, and then again press the unlock button.
The bcm should chime again to indicate the new fob is programmed. Then turn 'off' the ignition and do nothing for 32 seconds. This is the procedure as shown in the '04 manual.
The '98 manual  is the same as far as putting the bcm in programming mode, but differed in requiring only that any button on the new fob be pushed to program it.
I would try the '04 approach.
