hi ROLAND.YOUR PAST ANSWERS ABOUT 93 T&C OVERHEAD CONSOLE WAS CORRECT.I NOW HAVE A 97 JEEP CONSOLE IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION AND IT WORKS AS WAS TOLD TO ME. ALSO THAT I COULD DO A COMPLETE SWAP.THE ONLY PROBLEM-MY T&C HAS A 13 PIN FEMALE PLUG CONNECTOR -THE JEEP HAS A 6 MALE PIN PLUG.I HAVE RUN OUT OF      PATIENCE AND MONEY.WHAT DO I DO NOW? Hi William,
Before going futher with the swap, have you compared the wires to be sure they are identical? I can't guarantee these will be compatible unless that is the case. I don't have a Jeep manual for comparison. All I can suggest is that you try to get the mating plug for the Jeep console out of a wreck and splice the wires of that one to the wires of your T&C plug. Or at least verify what are the color of the wires that the Jeep console needs to operate. It may be more frustration to do all that work and find them to be incompatible. If you have exhausted the sources for an identical unit, it may be your only choice. The T&C has 10 wires for which I can tell you the purposes and colors.
