Chrysler Repair: Chrysler LH Concorde 00: Dash light change-out, chrysler concorde lxi, chrysler concorde

Question
I have a 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi with a 3.2 L engine.

The dash lights that illuminates my speedometer has gone out.  I am assuming it is burnt out because the other dash lights are still working.  I have several questions relating to this issue.
1.  How do I access the light to replace it.
2.  Is it a good idea to replace all of the lights while
   I have it torn apart.
3.  Should I consider replacing it with a LED bulb.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Chris

Answer
Hi Chris,
Here is the procedure from the manual:
Disconnect the remote - post battery clamp at the strut tower for electrical safety
Open door and remove left cap off the end of the instrument panel.
Lower the steering wheel to the lowest position
Using a soft wood stick remove the cluster bezel by gently prying
Remove the cluster screws and disengate the upper latch
Remove the cluster from the panel. It takes a force of 20 pounds to remove the plugs from the panel (you might want to avoid doing that if you can change the bulb without having to do this).
In the lower corners of the cluster tabs are provided so that a hook type device can be used to aid removal.
I would use the type of bulb that came with the vehicle which is a # 194. Even if you wanted to, there may be no LED that exchanges with the sockets and I am not certain about the electrical interchangeability.  Changing them all out is optiona
