Chrysler Repair: broken speedometer, chrysler town and country, software version number

Question
I have a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country.  The lights were flashing and the battery was dead when I returned home today.  When we jumped the battery, the speedometer dial pegged around and now my speedometer isn't working.  I can't tell how fast I'm going.  Any ideas!

perform this  and if it does not work then u will need to remove the cluster and hold it upside down the wrap them back around.

To activate the Self-Diagnostic program:
With the ignition switch in the OFF position, depress the TRIP ODOMETER RESET button.
Continue to hold the TRIP ODOMETER RESET button until Sof and a number (software version number (i.e. Sof 3.2) appears in the odometer window (about five seconds) then release the button. If a fault code is present, the cluster will display it in the odometer display. When all fault codes have been displayed, the cluster will display “end” in the odometer display.
