Chrysler Repair: 99 Cirrus: a/c condenser removal, radiator support, chrysler cirrus

Question
How do you change a 1999 chrysler cirrus A/C condenser? Does the radiator have to come out?

Answer
Hi Don,
The radiator doesn't have to come off. But you do have to remove the grille (start by removing the rivets holding the grille to the fascia, then the push-pins holding the grille to the crossmember). Then remove the refrigerant by collection system.
Disconnect and cap a/c lines to the condenser
Remove upper radiator support crossmember
Remove condenser lines using miller tool kit  7193 for quick disconnect fittings
Remove fan module mounts
Remove condenser line support bracket
Remove condenser mounting bolts.
Lift condenser from vehicle
Install is the reverse.
