MG Car Repair: 69 MGB Fuel Pump in the Trunk - Help, roadster factory, moss motors

Good Afternoon,

I saw some discussion threads where you provided guidance on troubleshooting a fuel problem. I had a similar problem and was able to troubleshoot to the point where I discovered the fuel pump in my trunk has a perforated diaphragm. Question: Can you help me with the identification of this fuel pump and also how I can order a replacement diaphragm so I can resolve my problem and start enjoying my MGB once again? Many thanks, in advance, for your help.

Hi Jeff,
All MGBs came with SU fuel pumps and some of the MG parts suppliers have parts for them. The parts suppliers all have web sites and toll free numbers. Check with Engel Imports, Moss Motors, The Roadster Factory and Victoria British to name a few.
