i need to locate the fuel filter under the car but im used to chevrolets. im lost thank you

On the Sebring convertible it is behind and above the fuel tank, mounted on a crossmember of the frame. To change it requires draining and dropping slightly the fuel tank, unfortunately*. Are you sure it needs to be changed? The easiest thing would be for me to xerox and postal mail to you a couple of pages that describe and show the procedure. Use the "thank and rate" tab where you will find a place to enter your mailing address in the comments area. I would suspect that you may not have a problem with the filter because of its size it would appear to last a "lifetime" possibly. Is there something wrong with your fuel supply for sure?

*On the Sebring sedan the filter and regulator are mounted near the fuel pump and you don't need to drain/drop the tank. Let me know if that is the body style of your vehicle.
