Chrysler Repair: 99 300M unreliable start - found off draw from batt.ery, infinity ii, power amp

Question
Just getting back to you, there was a draw from the battery of about 3.75 or so, so i started pulling fuses on the drivers side panel, and when i pulled the horn fuse, it dropped down to about .1 so what should i do from here?
p.s thanks for the previous advice.

Answer
Hi Josh,
If by the horn fuse you also mean #18 (20 amp, fourth from the bottom on the inside row of fuses) that one also supplies current to the power amplifier of the audio system. Try pulling the horn relay located adjacent to the fuse in order to check that it is or is not the horn circuit that is causing the excess current draw. If the draw continues with the relay pulled then probably the power amp is running when it should be shut off. The power amp is controlled normally by the ignition switch which should keep it turned off when the ignition is in the "off" position. Do you have a stock audio system? The base system doesn't have an amp; the midline, infinity I and infinity II systems have that amp set up. The amp is in the cabin on the right cowl, to the right of the passenger's leg.
Let me know and we can go from there.
