QUESTION: 2000 LHS. 3.5 Liter V6.  Ignition is off but starter still runs.  Disconnect starter cable, starter stops. Turn on ignition, touch starter cable to connection, car starts, Dicconnect from battery, car runs fine.  There are three relays in the relaay box, which one is it, is the cutoff relay not a problem.

Answer
I dont see relays cause this sorta deal  not saying it not possible  but doubt full. More like a control side of the relay always telling the starter to stay active. BTW are u looking under the hood or on the driver side of the dash at relays? The starter relay is under the hood on the driver side black box there should be about 5 or more relays in that box all labeled under the fuse box cover. Once u find the relay  unless u have a volt meter or test light i wont be able to help U much as finding if u have a shorted wire causing the starter to stay on or a switch or what ever.
