Chrysler Repair: Manually roll up window of 97 Chrysler Concorde, 1997 chrysler concorde, chrysler concorde

Question
How do you manually roll up the passenger window of a 1997 Chrysler Concorde?  Also once I've rolled it up how can I disconnect the wires so no one can roll it back down?

Answer
Hi Laura,
It involves removing the door trim panel which is best explained if you have the page or so from the manual. So use the "thank and rate" tab where you will find a comment section where you can insert your postal address. I'll xerox a copy and mail it to you.
If the motor is the problem, that can be replaced, or just disconnected. The mechanism may be able to operate mechanically after you remove the motor. Then it won't be workable after you put the trim panel back in place. It appears that if you had roll-up windows they would have a very similar mechanism as you have now, so you might be able to just get a handle from a similar car at a wrecking yard, or just buy the entire mechanism and substitute it for yours.
You will probably be the "expert" in this situation if you choose to repair this yourself!
