Chrysler Repair: 96 Concorde Stalling, no code, vacuum leaks, o2 sensors

Question
My 96 Concorde, 3.3L has over 150K miles on it.
2 days ago, it began to kick and stall at low RPM's but only when the transmission is in gear. It will start and idle beautifully. At 1000+ RPM there is no issue.
It is only when the engine drops RPM that the issue appears. This includes:  as soon as it is put in gear, when driving light on the throttle and the trans shifts up (all 3 gears) and when slowing down it will sputter/kick and die before it down shifts.
I also noticed that the timing advances...that is, I hear a hard knock (detonation) as soon as I shift into gear.
I am able to keep it from stalling, in forward gears, by goosing the throttle a little, perhaps I am fooling the computer. I can't do it in reverse, it stalls every time.
I've looked for vacuum leaks, and I've tried unplugging the MAP, TPS and O2 sensors. That produced poor idle or no change.

Any ideas?

Answer
Hi Tommy,
By no code, how did you try to get the code and with what result? Your year was on the cusp of OBD-I and OBD-II. It may be that the way you are trying to get a code is not appropriate. Did you use the ignition key and MIL, or did you use a code reader, and with what result?
Other than that, I would suspect the egr valve may be sticking so take a look at that possibility. How about the throttle body? Have you tried cleaning both sides of the throttle plate? and the throat, and the idle air side passageway? Those are my thoughts at this point.
