Chrysler Repair: dodge 2.7l timing marks, crank shaft, cam shaft

i have 2.7l that was slugged up removed and cleaned,after everything was done car wouldn't start with cam senor plugged in.was told timing was off.pulled back down and tried to set timing again still wouldn't.how i set timing first i had cams out so i set the 2nd chain dot with colored link put pamriy chain set 2 colored link with mark on left gear, set right with mark with dot on the gear then had to rotate cams so that colored link would line up with crank mark at the oil pump.i was told to have some marks at 12 clock not sure which.put updated chain,guides,water pump.

This cam shaft/crank shaft timing description is too complex to try and explain without pictures, and the site doesn't give the opportunity to post drawings/pictures. If you don't have a manual, I can copy 10 pages from the '98 Chrysler shop manual by xerox and postal mail them to you tomorrow. I'm in California so you can estimate how long it would take to get to you. If you can wait that long let me know via the "thank and rate" tab where you can enter a postal mailing address. When you get these pages if you would send me back three 41 cent stamps to cover my cost that would be appreciated. Sorry I can't get these to you any way faster.
