QUESTION: When I drive over 15-20 mph all the doors lock. There is no anti-theft on the car.

Answer
Hi Joe,
No you can't separate the automatic lock feature from the power lock function because it is mediated by the body computer and you can't get into its programming to change it as far as I know.
If the problem is that the door locks keep clicking/locking as you are driving along at speeds greater than 15 mph, then that is caused by one of the doors being too loosely latched which gives the system a false alarm which causes it to respond by trying to lock the doors. The solution for that is to go for a ride with a helper on board and once at speed each of the doors should be pushed from the inside toward the outside. You try to push the driver's door out, the helper can try the other three doors. One or more of the doors will cause the false locking sound. Such a door just needs to have its striker moved slightly in-board so that it more firmly latches the door against the door frame. Simply loosen the two screws on the striker and slide it toward the inside of the car a small amount. Tighten the screws. Then try the test again. That should solve your problem if that is the issue.
