QUESTION: HI I HAVE A 1999 CHRYSLER SEBRING JXI AND TODAY I TOOK IT TO THE AUTO SHOP FOR NEW ROOTERS I GAVE THE TECH A COPY OF THE KEY AND LEFT.THE CALLED ME 15 MIN LATER AND SAID THAT THE CAR WONT START.DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HELP ME?

ANSWER: have you ever used that key before or is it a copy you had made from some place because if so it is passable it is a security key and would have to be programmed to your car

QUESTION: so there is no way to start the car.
besides going to the dealer?

ANSWER: Well thats not really true I don't understand why the shop where the car is now couldn't figure it at if there a repair shop but if they cant I recommend bringing it somewhere that can maybe a dealer if thats what you would like I wish I could be more help but something like this theres to many things and not enough information Could be electrical a sensor or fuel delivery or spark but has to be one of them

QUESTION: SO THE CAR IS OUTSIDE THE AUTO SHOP I TRIED TO START IT BUT NOTHING HAPPENS NO CLICK NO NOTHING.THE ONLY THING THAT LIGHTS
UP WHEN I TURN THE KEY IS THE BRAKE LIGHT.

I don't live in California but the dealership is always good most people have the wrong idea of dealerships they think its going to cost more but were talking a couple dollars more if any compared to a independent shop and your car gets fixed correctly the first time thats why dealership pays allot of money to send there techs to allot of schooling and training to make sure that they can do the work. As far as the car goes it sounds like a bad starter or starter fuse or passably something even simpler like a battery
