Chrysler Repair: 1999 Chrysler 300m, atc code 26, automatic temperature control, atc code

Hi Louis, I ran the diagnostic on my atc and got code 26...ATC in-car sensor.. is that located under the fan knob it looks like a small vent ? if so what do i do ? also i have some rough idle no trouble or engine codes yet where do i start i just bought it as is no warranty and don't know the history

I believe you referring to the automatic temperature control unit (atc) I'm not sure what that code is but atc is the whole temperate control unit right there in your dash thats what controls your heat and ac sorry I'm not much help there. And the misfire if it is a 3.5 liter I've seen some problems with cylinder heads going bad on the don't want to scare you because I don't know if thats whats wrong with yours without seeing it or knowing more information just keep an eye out for it running hot thats a good indication of a cylinder head problem
