QuestionI have a 1987 Fifth Avenue with only 51,000 miles on it and it is in great shape.
My question is, I pressure washed the engine and now the A/C only blows from the bottom and not the front vents.
I checked to see if there was any vaccum lines disconnected and there was none.
Could this be a relay or electrical issue.
I see that there is a round sensor on the firewall below the fan unit and I also see a square thin silver box right on the firewall also above the fan unit and both are on the passenger side.
I sthere any way to test these electrical units to see if there bad?
Thank You.........
AnswerI don't think its anything electrical unless its in the control unit but that doesn't make sense if it just happened after you washed the car it sounds like vacuum to me I would check again especially around the firewall where the A/C lines come into the engine compartment from inside the car it really sounds like a vacuum hose is disconnected
