Chrysler Repair: Fuel consumption versus A/C fan speed, chrysler sebring, fuel consumption

Question
Hi Kevin

I've got a 2002 2.0 L LE Chrysler Sebring. My question is simple. Is the fuel consumption related with de A/C fan speed in anyway? That is to say, if I use my A/C fan in the max speed, does my car uses more fuel than in a lower speed?

Answer
I think u are mistaken how something works  or how u have this worded. The fans inside have nothing to do with fuel   the outside fans are controlled by electrical power not engine.

If your question is  if u have the AC on or defrost on yes the fuel will go down due to the ac compressor coming on using mechanical energy from the engine to turn it.
