Chrysler Repair: replacement key, vin number, black keys

I have a 02 Caravan and the keys are lost. The dealership (not for the van) has
told me I have no security system installed therefore cannot make me a
replacement key. Please help me with info on a possible easiest route.

What would a security system have anything to do with them not able to replace a key?
If the keys U had were gray in color then u have no choice but to go to a dealer with a vin number a proof of ownership they can cut a key and u will haft to have the van there to have them program the keys.  This is only if u have gray keys. Black keys  a dealer can cut them off the vin number and away u go.
