Chrysler Repair: Intrepid wont start, hi ed, power distribution

Question
Hi Roland.  Per your last suggestion I checked fuses No.'s 14, 18, 19,& 20.  You said that they were all fed from the Dark Blue wire from the igntion switch.  Well with the key in run they all barely showed any voltage, nothing close to 12V.  I'm assuming that means to replace the ignition switch.  Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Ed,
That certainly suggests some burned/oxodized contacts in the switch. If you wanted to verify for sure, you could see if the red wire at the switch's plug has the full 12V on it as that is the supply for the the dark blue thru the
switch contacts. And if that doesn't have a solid 12V then check fuse A in the power distribution box under the hood as that supplies the red wire. In turn fuse A gets its current from the battery + post. So that is the chain, and most likely the switch is the cause.
