Hi Billy,
No, the code is for an inability of the torque converter clutch to achieve a 1:1 speed ratio between its two halves.
The wiring should be checked and if that is OK then if there are no other codes it is the clutch that is bad. I would wonder though if it is worth repairing for such a modest improvement in mileage.
