Chrysler Repair: 97 Chrysler Intrepid Rear Window Defrost, chrysler intrepid, window grids

Question
I am getting no power to the rear defroster. The light illuminates when the button is pressed and the timer cycles fine but no power. The fuse has been replaced #6 in the cluster and I am sure it works as it is on the same circuit as my back up lights and they work. All the wiring is in tact with no frays or corrosion. I have checked the main relay box under the hood for any reference to a RWD and nothing is listed. Is there another location for a relay switch that I am not finding? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Answer
Hi Brian,
I have the '94 manual which I believe applies to your '97.
The '98 manual is different. (The power distribution center under the hood is nearly square, correct? or is it long and thin?) Do you have the regular or the automatic AC control panel? I don't believe the back up lights and the defogger window are on the same fuse. Have you tested for continuity across the window grids themselves?  Once we clarify we can go forward. Write back with the answers, please.
