Chrysler Repair: LHS 2000: heater for seat, map light bulb, check fuse, fuse box

Question
We have a 2000 LHS with 180,000 km on it that we still love.  The seat heater on the driver's side has quit working.  Both lights above rv mirror are burnt out.  I can't figure out how to change the bulbs.  Is there a fuse for the seat heaters?

Answer
Hi Barb,
There is in the fuse box under the dash two circuit breakers. These are resettable switches so you might find that one's lever is different from the other in its position. The one that is labelled CB 2 is the power source for the heated seats, both the motors and the heat. If the motors work then that CB 2 is not the answer. There is also a fuse near by, #14, which powers the control panel/sensor switch for the seat heat function, so check that. Otherwise, check the electrical plug at the base of the seat to see it it is disconnected. On the lights, check fuse #19, and if that is OK, the try pulling gently down on map light fixture to see if that will cause it to release from the headlining.
