Chrysler Repair: 2006 CHRYSLER 300 SIDE MIRROR, negative battery cable, rearview mirror

I JUST ORDERED A DUB CHROME MIRROR ASSEMBLY FOR MY CAR.CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME INFO ON HOW TO TAKE OUT THE OLD MIRROR. DO I NEED TO TAKE OUT THE DOOR PANEL? THANKS.

Answer
Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the trim panel from the inside of the front door (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/PANEL-TRIM - REMOVAL).
Remove the two push pins (2) that secure the window trim molding (1) to the front door.
Remove the window trim molding to gain access to the mirror fasteners.




Disconnect the door wire harness connector (4) from the mirror electrical connector (2).
Remove the three nuts (1) that secure the outside rearview mirror (3) to the front door.
Remove the outside rearview mirror from the front door.
