Chrysler Repair: starter relay fuse blowes (10 amp): 98 T&C, transmission control module, starter relay

chysler T&C 1998 I am a A/c tech, good print reader went to all data looked at print could not find anything in the print other than inig. ,sw fuse starter relay coil & the module that grounds the coil to energize it. changed relay &( starter) bad idea took cover off relay closed contacts starter energizes you gave a a answer to marcie i did all that is there something in the circuit that iam missing is this a common problem my wife says at highway speeds the trany jerks some times

Hi Larry,
That fuse (which only is energized when the ignition is in the start position) also supplies power to the transmission control module on a yellow/red wire at pin 8 of the module plug. I don't see how the starter relay could blow the fuse unless its coil were shorted to ground. So you might check both the yellow/red to the tcm and the tcm module itself at that pin to see if it is shorted to ground, and consider a new stater motor relay. If I find anything else I will let you know.
