Chrysler Repair: 1996 Sebring Convertible, fuel pressure regulator, jumper wire

Question
Just bought a Sebring and it cranks but won't start. The previous owner said he checked for spark and got and also check for computer codes and nothing came up. He also pulled off the fuel line in the engine and cranked the engine and no fuel came out. Is the fuel pump bad? Someone mentioned that it could be the fuel pressure regulator.

Answer
the regulator does just what it says  it regulates  it does not supply pressure  only the pump does that. Take the relay out and install a jumper wire and see if u can make the pump work manual that will tell u  if it even comes on.I live in the Atlanta area I would be glad to look at it for u.
