Chrysler Repair: limp mode, transmission shops, dollas

Question
I know that you know chrysler until 2000 year model, but may be you can help me. my car is a town and country lxi 3.3 flex engine .it started like month ago with a check engine ligth and limp mode transmission next day I used the car with no problems just check engine light for few days even the check engine light was gone after few days it was going on and off all the time but when I turn it off take the key out and restart was working fine the same until yesterday that I went to a two transmission shops to make a scan tool and both told me that was the TCM with one code p0700 and the other told me was somethig with the memory I did not hear very well.
so I went to chrysler bought the TCM and told them to install it, they call me to let me know that the transmission was in limp mode and can not be re flashed that they have to take it to a transmission shop to make a diagnostic. I'm getting sick about this with $700 dollas thrown away because i beleived that even my computer was fine, I just to love my van but I'm planning go get rid of it, please help me if you can.
Best Regards.

Answer
hehe  my friend I still work at a dealer  so I am certified up to the 08 that are not even out yet. But thats beside the point.  First of all  tell me more about the prob U spent 700 of a TCM that u did not need. The p700 code only tells u that the TCM has a code  and nothing more. A good shop will have a scanner that can get into the tranny computer  or the dealer as well can get into it. Tell me some other stuff that goes on when this stuff happens  like the cluster not working  or a no start  stuff like that.I live in the Atlanta area I would be glad to look at it for u.
