Chrysler Repair: Concorde Head Gasket, tank radiator, head gasket

Question
1997 Concorde 3.3 w/170k mi.  Overheated and blew a hole in the reservoir/overfill tank.  Radiator man performed a pressure test and believes it's a head gasket.  Called a mechanic and he said it's probably not worth fixing.  "Aluminim Heads, cracked block, etc".  I would like to hear your thoughts b4 I sell it for scrap.  It's a nice car w/good tranny, cold air, ect.

I don't know the reason she overheated but the water pump isn't leaking- thermostat?
