Chrysler Repair: Fuel Filter, fuel delivery system, electric fuel pump

Question
QUESTION: Cannot find the location of the fuel filter on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. Dropped the tank... not under there. Nothing on this vehicle looks like the new filter I have. Already had the filter part number double-checked. Purilator F55529. Feel like an idiot... PLEASE HELP!

ANSWER: DESCRIPTION
The front wheel drive car uses a plastic fuel tank located rear center of the vehicle.

The Fuel Delivery System consists of: the following items:

Electric fuel pump module
Fuel filter
Tubes/lines/hoses
Fuel injectors
The in-tank fuel pump module contains the fuel pump. The pump is serviced as part of the fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Pump Module.

The fuel filter is replaceable only as part of the fuel pump module.

QUESTION: Thanks for your time Kevin. So... You're saying there isn't a serviceable fuel filter on this vehicle? Since I can't find it, I believe you... but that can't be a good thing. Filter flow effects fuel pressure... which can definitely effect the performance of a fuel injected vehicle. At 55k miles, do I need to service anything concerning the fuel delivery system?

Answer
that line u see was a cut and past from the chryslers web site for techs. Its not the same kinda filter u think plus they wont fail from being stopped up  they will fail from the motor going bad b4 they stop up  and thats of course u don't get a tank of gas that is from a bad holding tank  u know all rusty and crap.
