Chrysler Repair: 96 Cirrus- blower motor resistor location, blower motor resistor, glove compartment

Question
The fan in my car works only on the high setting.
From what i've read it's probably the resistor.
Where can I find the resistor for this car?
I removed the cowling under the glove compartment but I didn't see it.

Answer
Hi Frank,
The resistor is on the underside of the right end of the heater/ac housing, adjacent to the blower motor (just to the left of the motor). It is positioned in the air duct that the blower supplies are to. It is held by two screws, with the heads underneath the unit, so look for a multi-wire plug that is connected to it (two of the wires go from the plug area to the blower motor, so just track the wires from the blower motor to find the resistor). Remove the plug and you will find the two screws. Remove the screws and the resistor block will drop out of the duct.
