Chrysler Repair: Blinking lights, dodge caravan, bottom buttons

I have a 98 Dodge Caravan and I’m having a problem with flashing lights on the a/c & heater panel. I have two lights that flash together, which are the a/c light and re-circular light. They quit flashing after the vehicle runs for 15 min or so. When they flash, the other buttons wont light (rear defroster, wipers etc.). What can I do to get this reset or something?

Some how your control head is out of calibration or there is a fault stored in the system.To put in self calibation and diag mode do the following.engine running.Turn the fan on high,mode in defrost and push and hold the top and bottom buttons on the left side until the flash mode changes.Release the buttons and the system will go through its process.When it is done it will either no longer flash or there will be a different sequence of flashing.Let me know which it is and we will go from there.
