Chrysler Repair: 94 LHS Security Alarm, door key, security alarm

Roland,
   I know you have been asked multiple questions concerning the '94 LHS alarm system.  I have tried most of your previous recommendations - to no avail. Now - I have reached the end of my rope and want to permanently disable the alarm system to retain what sanity I have left.  How can I disable the system. Thanx in advance!

Hi Michael,
I have yet to see a procedure for permanently disabling the security system on the LH cars. Unfortunately the way it is wired into the body computer there is no single plug that you can pull that will stop the system without stopping alot of other systems.
According to the '94 manual the system will not arm if you simply when leaving the car: avoid using the electrical door lock switches or the remote unit. If you just lock all the doors manually and/or with the door key it shouldn't arm. That is the same as disabling it. You can observe if the theft system light on the dash starts flashing or not to verify. It would seem to me that if you never armed it that would be a solution.
Give that a try and let me know whether that is a 'work around' for you.
