Chrysler Repair: 91 chrysler dynasty, engine controller, field coils

Question
I brought my 91 dynasty in for a fuel pump and filter to be changed I diagnosed this myself bought the parts and had a mechanic install them. when I brought them my car it only showed a code 12, and for this I disconected the battery myself. When I picked up my car tonight and checked it I now have 2 new codes, its showing a code 25 and 41 can you please tell me what these codes are as I cannot find them anywhere on the net. Thank you.
Jeff

Answer
Hi Jeff,
That is strange...because neither of those codes should have any relationship to changing the fuel pump or the filter. You might want to read them out again just for sure.
The 25 code says that the engine controller detects a short or open in one of the four circuits that operate the idle automatic control motor which would if true cause some problems with idling. The 41 code says the field coils of the alternator aren't being controlled properly which would cause an abnormally high or low reading on the voltmeter on the cluster. So check those two functions and see if you find any sign of these sorts of problems. If not, then re-read the codes. You can find a code listing at:
