hi, how are you? my car's mufler is cracked & gasket is no good also will it be all right to do the soder (sodring) insted of welding. thank you!

I believe you will find that soldering will not work because the temperature of the muffler/exhaust pipe will often exceed the melting point of solder. It either needs to be welded, or I have had luck using muffler sealer/mender so long as the patch is held in place by  a metal clamp or a screw (in the case of a small hole). So check out the muffler cement in a tube or a can and that might work because when it dries it does not melt in high temperature situations. It won't last forever but may last long enough that some other part of the muffler/pipe will wear out first.
