QuestionThank you for taking my question. I have the above auto and have replaced fuel filter, have power to fuel pump (not sure it is running). I have a book which says to check fuel pressure regulator, but do not know what it looks like or where to find it. Help...
Answeryou do not need to know where the regulater is to ck the fuel pressure.Open a fuel line and see if gas squrets
out when you cycle the key,if you cant hear the pump--
then its not working,I have replaced many of them !!!.
the regulater looks like a small filter on top of the engine
it is connected to the fuel rail and has a vacume hose on
on side,how do you check it&with what??I never had a problem
with a regulater. hope this helps tm
