Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1969 silver shadow brakes

i have a 1969 silver shadow that i just bought. it was setting for two years. it has the right hand brake light that comes on and stays on when the car is started i think it might be the accumulator how can i tell and should i drive it for a few miles first

This could be just a sticky brake light switch.
Best to apply the brake a few time on a regular basis to
see if it goes off. Any time a RR sits, thing like the brake light
switch, the emergency brakes and other moving parts tend to stick.
Driving it is the best thing to help free this up.
