I'm am lost I've replaced voltage regulars,alt,and my alt gauge go's crazy.people tell me i have too calibrator my voltage regulars. I'm lost can you help and really sorry about my spelling thank you bill

I am a model a guy, but I will try to help. I thought that the voltage reg was built into the alt. I don't know what regulator you are changing.  There is a control module mounted on the firewall that controls the ignition, but I don't think that would have anything to do with the ammeter.  Maybe your prob is with the ammeter. Get a volt meter, rev the engine and check the voltage. If it is above 12v. , maybe around 14v.  Then forget about it. If the car runs good and your battery stays up and does not overcharge, forget what the ammeter is doing.
