what oil do u put in the carbs on mgb

AS per the factory recommendations 30W oil. but the climate there is a bit on the cool side if not down right cold at times. The function of the oil is the enrich the mixture upon abrupt throttle openings. so it is possible to use a lighter weight oil in warmer climes, for instance I use a 5w20 in my Silvercloud.
