i need to know what you think ,what is the best spark plugs for 1987 chevy caprice cla. 350 dbb carb any help would be great,i just recieved the car and it has only 80,000  miles and i want to keep it running good

With manufacturing what it is today, for the most part, all brands are pretty much the same. The only difference I know of is the "discount stores" have been known to sell 'refurbished' as new plugs.

As long as you buy new plugs at a reputable parts store you should be okay.

By the way, I have never seen any difference in gold or platinum tips in performance or durabilty.
