QuestionHi, I have 59 ford galaxie skyliner. Brake pedal goes to floor when I stop. Car still rolling when pedal to floor. Have installed new master cylinder,4 wheel cylinders,new brakes.hoses,drums turned,had 5 inch kelsey hayes booster for power brakes rebuilt. I have bled the brake lines. I dont know what else to do. Any help greatly appreciated
AnswerWELL that's interesting. When you remove yourself a little from the situation, logic dictates that, if shoes are properly adjusted, something new is not working.
Get someone to help you and remove a drum. With someone watching for movement, gently depress brake pedal. Don't push so far you blow out wheel cylinder. If all is doing what it should, your shoes are out of adjustment. If not, trace backwards to locate problem.
