Classic/Antique Car Repair: Carter Carburetor rebuild for 58 Rambler, gumout, guage

You helped me out previously, but now I have another question.
I've ordered a carb kit for my '58 Rambler Cross Country Custom 10 statiion wagon. The car has a Carter Carburetor model WCD-2586-S, and I would appreciate any information you have for rebuilding it. The more detailed the better, but I understand if you can't.

Use Gumout brand carb cleaner LIBERALLY, either spray or liquid, but use lots of it inside and out. I prefer spray.

There will be parts you never find the place for, don't worry about it. But make sure to change all springs, seats, check balls and seats.

Use the float guage in the kit, but it is not always true to your application.
