Classic/Antique Car Repair: rear wheel lugs, wheel lugs, propane torch

Have attempted to remove nut on rear wheels of my 64 Rambler to access brakes but cannot budge it.Are the threads right or left threaded?

They should be right handed but look at the end of the stud. If they are left handed there should be an "L" stamped on it. If there is a left handed thread it should be only on the left side of the car. It might take a little heat to loosen them. A hand held propane torch will not provide enough heat it will take an oxy accetelyne and a big wrench.
