Classic/Antique Car Repair: 75 MG Midget, proper storage, dry environment

Question
I have a '75 Midget that we want to sell after being in storage for 7 years.  What should we focus on to get it going?

Answer
Hi Cindy:
First and foremost, DON'T try to start it. NOW, did you properly prepare it for storage before putting it in storage? If not, you may have some problems. Any auto that will be in storage for more than six months, should be prepared for storage just like a new car.

If ALL fluid was not drained from the vehicle and the car put up on blocks and kept in a dry environment, then you will need to start slow bringing it back to life. Please confirm the storage if the car was prep for proper storage for the 7 years hibernation. Thanks.
