Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1966 Fury Sport ,383, 4 barrel, auto trans., check ebay, exhaust ports

Question
Brad,
I asked a few questions about a week ago.  Thank you for the answers they were very helpful,
I have a couple additional questions (I had a few minutes to look under the hood):
1) Where are the water temp sending units located? Does it have 1 or 2? Are they on the heads between the plug and exhaust ports?
2) The speedometer is not connected. A cable is coming through the fire wall that looks like the speedometer it has a screw-on connector at the end. Also a cable comes from the transmission, it also looks like a speedo cable and has the same screw connector at it's end. Both cables end in about the same place, in the engine bay about 1 foot from the fire wall. It seems like the both screw into some sort of box (gear?) that is missing. Any ideas?
3) Any way to get pictures of the engine bay.
Thanks for your help,
Allen

Answer
There should be one water temp sensor and it should be right on the front of the engine beside the thermostat housing. The cable sounds like the car had cruise control at one time and the cruise servo has been removed. The best pictures are from a factory service manual so check Ebay and www.books4cars.com
