Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1968 mustang, replacement antenna, splash guard

I just bought a replacement antenna for my mustang and I can not see an access to the mounting nut under the right front fender. is their an easy way to get to this with out pulling bony parts off?

Hi John:
Never paid much attention to antenna mountings. However, most older cars antennas are either mounted with accessibility from under the hood or removing the splash guard from under the fender. If you can't get at it front under the hood, you will have to remove the wheel and the splash guard. Hope this helps.
