Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1967 Camaro (Horn Problem), turn signal switch, 1967 camaro

Question
I have 2 questions:
I'm having a problem getting my horn to work on my 1967 camaro convertible. I have replaced the horn relay and turn signal switch assembly. I assume that the wire from the switch assembly is the trigger wire?, Is there a different switch assembly for tilt?, What is the proper way to take out the turn signal switch with out damaging it?, what else can I do?

Answer
Well first of all a few questions. Have you jumped the horns to be sure that they work? Have you checked the voltage going to the relay? The wire up through the column grounds the relay to turn it on. And there is a different switch for the tilt and non tilt. And the steering column needs a good ground to work the horn.
